This is an opinion article about some major differences between the West Africa Examination Council and that of National Examination council , Following the latest trending in Nigeria now about the scrapping of Neco and Jamb we have decided to drop some views as an opinion to our reader to share their view also with us.
Major Differences are:
1: Acceptance: Waec Gce is general accepted in some top European countries as an admission requirement while Neco is only accepted here in Nigeria
2: Grading: The marking scheme of Neco is totally different from that of Waec Gce and mostly students prefer writing Waec gce than that of Neco , Have you heard about C Parallel slogan, Student now call some board Exam Parallel Examination.

Please note that we are NOT trying to part any examination board here but have you seen any of the above result before,
3: Examination: The manner at which the two parties conduct their exam are totally different.
4: Registration Fee: To be honest with you, West Africa examination council registration fees is very high compare to that of Neco fee and even the result checking procedure is very costly.
5: Result Combination: Are you aware that you can No longer combine your Neco result with that of your Waec result if you have any subject problem or missing result problem or as the case may be.
